How can the main

I accidentally gave administrators rights to another user on the iMac and now like to cancel that.

What is the procedure for it.

Once you gave these rights to a user it look as if you cannot change it anymore: at least I do not know where to find this option.

Can anybody help me?

 (Apple menu) System Preferences... > Users & Groups.

Authenticate by clicking the "lock" icon, select the user, and de-select "Allow user to administer this computer".

You won't be able to do that unless you are also an Administrator.
