How do I use the Trade Assurance service?

1) Find a participating supplier

Look for the Trade Assurance icon   and the supplier’s Trade Assurance Limit. 

2) Negotiate with the supplier 

- Agree on the amount of your order payment to be covered by Trade Assurance and the shipping date.

- If you want to be covered for product quality, ask the supplier to offer either pre-shipment or post-delivery coverage and negotiate your quality requirements. 

3) Start order/draft contract

- Place an order on Alibaba.com by clicking‘Start Order’ or asking the supplier to draft a Trade Assurance Contract.

- Enter your Trade Assurance covered amount and shipping date.

- If you want to be covered for product quality, select either pre-shipment or post-delivery coverage and make sure your quality requirements are contained in the contract.

- Confirm the Trade Assurance Contract in All Orders in My Alibaba.
