Why did my credit card payment fail?

Here are some possible reasons why your credit card payment may not have been accepted:

1. Type of card used: Please make sure your card is either Visa or MasterCard or a Maestro debit card.
2. 3-D Security Code: 3-D Secure is an XML-based protocol designed to be an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. When making payments on Alibaba.com, you must have an activated 3-D Secure Code (verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode) in order to use your credit card. This security measure protects users against identity theft.
Please contact your bank to confirm whether your card has been authorized for 3-D Secure Authentication.

3. Card validity and limit: your card may have expired or your payment has exceeded the card limit on your credit card. 

If your card payment has failed, please follow the suggestions listed below, and note the error code shown:
