A supplier has requested to delete my feedback. What are Alibaba.com's rules?

We will review the supplier’s feedback deletion request and make decisions based on the guidelines below:

For feedback containing profanity, spiteful remarks, obscene comments, slanderous statements or private information relating to companies or individuals, the feedback will be deleted immediately and permanently. Note that in this case, no opportunity will be given to file an appeal against the supplier’s feedback deletion request, or the deletion itself.

 

If the supplier believes that the feedback is from a fake buyer who was assigned by their competitor to deliberately give negative feedback to ruin their business credibility, they can request to delete the feedback. Supporting evidence will need to be provided. In the event of this situation, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to file an appeal within 3 working days. You can defend yourself by providing counter-evidence to prove that your feedback is valid. If no appeal is submitted within the given period, the feedback will be deleted automatically and permanently.

 

If an appeal is filed, we will review your case and make the final decision within no more than 2 working days. To better evaluate the case, we may contact both parties via phone where necessary. Once the decision has been made to delete the feedback, it will be removed permanently.

 

 

Note:
Not all feedback deletion requests will be accepted. If the feedback is valid, representing your actual experience in relation to the transaction, but the supplier simply disagrees with it, such feedback deletion requests will be rejected.
