itunes volume too low recently

In the last few days the volume coming out of iTunes, no matter what I'm playing (Radio or Music) it's about 25% lower than it was before.

The little slider on the iTunes dashboard is all the way to right.

Sound is low with headphones and optical output as well as with built in speakers

I restarted but no change

Any ideas?
