Upgrading software from leopard.
I have a late 2008 macbook 5,1 running leopard. I want to upgrade the software to el capital or Yosemite but not sure if I have to buy all the software inbetween. E.g. Snow leopard, lion, mountain lion.
Which software should I buy and is possible to buy just one?
Thx
What version of the MacBook Late 2008 are you running (model or serial number)? Cause they're is two models for that year and each have different OS limits. Either way you do have to go in order you can not skip a version.
You need to buy and install Snow Leopard, but not any other intermediate version.
