iTunes does not recognize new edition iPad Pro.

Have most recent iTunes (12.7.0.166).  Updated to IOS 11.02 to 2017 edition of iPad Pro and want to "restore" it with backed up contents of my old iPad Pro 2015 edition with 11.01 IOS, which I backed up this afternoon.

Unfortunately, the new iPad while plugged into my iMac does not appear. What must I do?
