iMac problem

I have just downloaded to my iMac the latest update, also to my MacBook. When I want to share a document all I see is collaborate with others. In the local Solutions shop the iMac gives a choice of Collaborate with others and send a copy. i.e. the old method. On my MacBook it has the same. Why haven't I got both on the iMac? I want to send documents in Word and it is giving me pain.

What year is this iMac?

A new one, purchased this year.
