Freeze on Log in

Hello, My two days old Macbook Pro 15' 2016 w/ Touch Bar freezes on Log In and won't let me log in at all.

I could have wiped the Mac clean and re-install the OS from the Internet or a flash drive but the machine won't let me do that. The Apple logo is just there and the status bar won't move. Not in 15 mins, half an hour or two hours after I initiate the reinstallation process. What is wrong with Apple these days? How to solve this lag and finally access the Macbook?

If your Mac is 2 days old you have free Apple Support. I suggest you use that. Also, you have 14 days to return for a full refund. If I bought a new Mac and it had problems out of the box, I'd return it.
