Cannot use self

I have a self-created ringtone which I would like to use with my new iPhone 8.  It was working fine with my iPhone 7. I have bought an iPhone 8, and the ringtone does not sync anymore. The same happens with a purchased ringtone. Both are stored in my iTunes Library (in Finder, there is a folder named "Tones").

There is no "Tones" folder in the iTunes Library in iTunes 12.7 anymore. However, there is a "Tones" folder under the "Device" menu, but there the ringtones are only listed in grey with a dotted circle. You cannot check or uncheck. Does anyone know how to get these ringtone onto the iPhone?
