How do I enter midi notes in score editor using...

How do I enter midi notes in score editor using letters as notes (typing 'b' puts in a 'b' note), rather than using standard musical typing ('a', 's,' 'd,' 'f' = 'c' 'd' 'e' 'f', and so on).  I've tried looking at the key commands editor and there's no option for remapping notes to keyboard with musical typing turned on.  The logic pro 9 manual mentions to "create a system for key command assignments," but no mention on how to do that, and I'm not sure if Logic Pro X has this feature
