Installation error for 12.7

I tried updating 12.6 to 12.7, then tried a clean install of iTunes. The error message I receive is, "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could not run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I'm running Windows 10 Home, version 1703. Anyone have any ideas?
