Keyboard on iPad update

Unfortunately I did the update from Apple on my iPad and the new keyboard is very confusing..  any links I could use to figure out how to use it?

If you don't like it, you can switch it off in Settings > General > Keyboard > deselect “Enable Key Flicks.”
