Exporting all data from iphone 4S to iphone 7 w...

Hello,

Can someone please tell me how to export all data, contacts, photos, apps, notes, calendar etc. from iphone 4s to iphone 7, but using iTunes not iCloud?

I have allready done my backup from old iphone with iTunes, but in iTunes I only have access to my music from iphone and apps I cant find.. I dont know if contacts are copied..(where can I see that?)..

I understand that you want to transfer overall data, contacts, photos, apps, notes, calendar etc. from iPhone 4s to iPhone 7, through iTunes and not using iCloud. I may be able to help with this. To do this you're going to have to turn off some iCloud syncs and then re-create your iTunes backup.

You can turn off the iCloud sync for contacts and calendars. Just be to sure specify that you want to keep the data on the phone when asked. Apps are tied in with your Apple ID. You can sign into iTunes and App Store (separate from iCloud) to download the Apps again.  As long as iCloud Photo Library is not turned on, the photos will be included in the iTunes backup.


Notes are synced with your email or iCloud. Opening the Notes App will tell you which is synced with. If with iCloud, you can send a note to your email. This article will help you: Use Notes on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You can also invite others to join you in a note, so you can collaborate on things like grocery lists, project notes, travel plans, and more. Learn more aboutcollaborating with others on a note. 

Once you've turned off all the iCloud syncs that I've mentioned (except notes), use iTunes to create a new backup. Then when you restore using that backup, those items will be included with the backup. This article helps with what's included in backups: About backups for iOS devices

Thank you for your answer, but I already managed to export all data with iTunes.

I did never use iCloud before, so I just did backup with iTunes and all data was exported on a new phone.

I wasn't sure about the backup in iTunes because I coludn't find any apps, contacts, notes, photos...nothing in iTunes after I did backup. And I didn't know if that is normal..I remember that before you were able to see, for example, apps in iTunes that you have in your phone and now you can't.. So I thought my backup is no good and that I have to do something else to export it all from phone..
