iPad Mini ghost touching?

My iPad Mini is Ghost Touching without me even using it? It will turn the screen on by itself and somehow type in my password then starts typing in "CCCCCC:CCCCCC356778:CCCCCCC" on safari, I would take it to the Apple store, but the thing is... the screen is cracked. Please help as I really need this iPad for education purposes and it's really annoying having to do reboots over and over.

First thing to try is a reset. Hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

I believe the issue you are having is MAYBE and likely related to using a Non-Apple approved Lightning cable/Plug.

There are multiple layers to the display of iPhone and iPad. Apple charges regulate the current that flows to the device.

Using a Non-Apple approved charging solution can cause a unregulated amount of charge to flow through to the device and damage the touch-sensitive layer of the display. Cause the particular layer to sense false touch.

The device will need replacing. This maybe also be resolved by replacing the screen.

Many youtube searches indicate shorting of the digitizer that can be fixed by taping copper edge of the digitizer. it's probably good idea to have a new one ready because the old one could crack during removal. Digitizer screen runs $10-$20 on Amazon.
