STAINGate ON MACBOOK PRO display

My macbook pro retina display developed staingate spots .

Issue is getting progressively worse.

Please advise on solution to the problem.

It has to do with Retina MacBook pros in 2015.

"The anti-reflective coating appears to be wearing off under a variety of circumstances, including the pressure of the keys and trackpad on the display when closed, and the use of third-party cleaning solutions and microfiber cloths."

I did not know it was happening on current models.

What does staingate mean, I looked it up and could not find anything relevant.

Hi,

Apple handles this on a case by case basis after looking at your Mac. Therefore, the only solution is to bring the Mac to an Apple Store “genius” bar for a free diagnosis: https://support.apple.com/contact

Hi,

This is the third time with my late 2013 MacBook Pro 15". What year is your model? Do you know if this is happening on the new ones?

Thanks,

Brent

Hi

Mine is Early 2015 and I procured it in mid 2016 . I had been to the service store and they were very cooperative  the guys said they will get it replaced .

Hi. Do you know if the new MacBook Pro models still have this issue? i filled out a discussion but haven't heard from anyone. This has been the only issue with mine. This will be my third time in for repairs.

OK you can try and battle the Trolls as I did in the Apple Store (unsuccessfully) or you can buy a tube of Peek (its a Polish for metal, fibreglass and ceramic) available on Amazon and as I did turn your screen from this;

to this;

Question I now have is why doesn't Apple just do this simple and cheap fix?

In case they think its the anti-reflective coating who thinks that ever worked?

John

Changing the lighting and background while changing the picture makes a judgement extremely hard to reach.

I can assure you the result is brilliant but of course if you don't want to believe and like arguing with the Apple Trolls then don't believe me.

All I requested is a like for like comparison, but if you don't want to that is your choice.
