ipad air 2 touch screen

I have an iPad Air 2 never been dropped screen is fine digitizer has no cracks but the touch screen is non responsive. I have done hard reset and also a restore and touch screen just will not work. I have heard ios 11 can cause this issue it has the latest update of 11.02 Anybody else have this problem or know a way to fix it?

I would suggest taking it to an Apple Store and have someone at the Genius Bar take a look at it for you.  They can tell you if it is a hardware issue or a software issue and help get it resolved for you, or give you options on what you can do to get it replaced.

Since it’s no longer under warranty don’t they charge to even look at it?

They won't charge you to take a look at it with you there at the Genius Bar.  However, if anything needs done to it, because it is out of warranty they will charge you.  But to just check it out and give you an idea of what they think it may be, they shouldn't charge you anything
