How long do you have to listen for a song to count as "played" (=1 stream)? I know it's 30 seconds for Spotify, is it any different for Apple Music?

Are you sure? It doesn't sound right to me tbh. Where does this information come from?

I play songs myself, I look at what happens

What do you do?

10 seconds before the song ends, if yous skip before that time it won't count. (You can fast forward to the end and get it).

Tested myself.

It’s 20 seconds to count as 1 ”play” or “stream”. Apple also pays a higher rate to artists than Spotify does.
