Macbook 12" Kyeboard "Letter E" fading

Hi all,

I have visited Apple Authorised Service Centre and was told the fading was due to tear and wear and not allow for a replacement. I have several MBs before this and none of them had this issue and I'm pretty sure it could be due to quality defect.

Can I make a report to Apple for a replacement ? FYI , AppleCare till May 2018
