trying to install Exchange email on my iMac,  I keep being told unable to verify account.  What I'm i doing wrong

I see that you're having some difficulty setting up your Exchange email account on your iMac. You keep receiving an error that the account can't be verified. I'm happy to help.

Mail settings you might need from your email provider -- Contact your Exchange administrator for the settings you need.
