Can I increase disk space on iPad 2 from 16 gig

My iPad 2 16 gig disk is full.  Can I change the hardware to add more disk space to say 32 or 64 gig?

You cannot update the device you have now. The only thing that you can do is to purchase a device with larger capacity. The storage on iPads and iPhones cannot be upgraded.

You can not increase the internal storage after purchase. There are external devices that have some limitations but may help: https://www.macworld.co.uk/feature/iphone/best-external-storage-drives-for-iphone -ipad-3579792/

No.

iPads only come in fixed storage sizes.

So, you would need to purchase a larger capacity iPad.

To get some of your data off of your iPad, you could use offsite,  “cloud” data storage services like Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Amazon Cloud Drive, etc.

AND/OR

There are Wireless Wifi storage devices that act as “supplemental” storage for iPads, that aren't as integrated for iDevice use and use their own special iOS Apps to access these drives.

There are a few special storage devices for mobile devices. There are portable, bulit-in WiFi hotspot hard drives for mobile devices made by Western Digital and Seagate.

There are special mobile lightning connected and built in WiFi Hot spot, USB flash drives made by SanDisk (now owned by Western Digital)
