Disk space available inconsistent on Time Machi...

I am getting inconsistent reports of free space available on my Time Machine Backup.

Time Machine Preference Panel and Disk Utility report 2.98 TB free
Path Finder reports 2.9 TB free (it appears that Path Finder reports only 2 significant figures and truncates)
Finder reports 1.33 TB free

Obviously this is not because of Local Backups, since this is my Time Machine disk and this is on my iMac.

I have two Time Machine backups, and both show similar inconsistencies (Finder showing much less free space than other programs).

I have recently run First Aid on this disk, so I'm pretty sure it is in a consistent state.

I only see this difference in my Time Machine disks. Data disks are consistent between the four programs.

Any thoughts?

Finder occasionally inaccurately reports incorrect disk space available. I would rely on the other 2 sources.
