Hi ALL,

I have this problem,  I use iPhone 7 unlock Apple Watch S1 on my wrist before sleep.  In the morning I found that that Apple Watch S1 auto lock.  I need to use iPhone or input passcode at AW S1 ... use it. I don't have this issue before upgrade.

With Wrist Detection and Passcode enabled, your Apple Watch will lock automatically if it believes that it has been removed from your wrist. This can occur if the watch is worn too loosely, including if clothing is able to slip beneath the back of the watch and your wrist whilst you are sleeping.

It may help to check that you are wearing your Apple Watch sufficiently snugly (but not too tightly) on the top of your wrist:

If your Apple Watch continues to lock unexpectedly, then the following steps may help:

• Clean the back of your Apple Watch:
  • Cleaning your Apple Watch - Apple Support

• Restart both your iPhone and your Apple Watch, turning both off together, then restarting your iPhone first:
  • Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
  • Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

• Unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch:
  • The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch automatically when unpairing via the app.
  • Initially choose to Restore from Backup during set up (most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions, such as Apple Pay cards, passcode).
  • If the issue persists, consider instead unpairing and setting it up as a new watch.
  • Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support
  • Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If the issue then persists, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (remote diagnostics and/or mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to having your watch checked and, if recommended, serviced:
