FaceTime "Error occurred during activation"

I'm on a MacBook Pro & previously could use FaceTime. Today however, I'm receiving the error message "error occurred during activation". I'm also no longer able to use messages on my MacBook. I've reset my iCloud password and nothing is working. My iMessage and FaceTime work fine on my iPhone 7. Can anyone please help me? Thanks in advance!
