My Screen

So I have had my iPad mini 2 charging all night and I've been listening to music with it. I got up this morning and the screen was just the backlight and black. I've tried the instructions to force a **** down but they aren't working. Nothing is appearing on my screen. The iPad is still connecting to my bluetooth speaker somehow. What should I do?
