Admin password required, but no admins are regi...

When i access my settings and try to unlock them to make changes i'm asked to enter the username and password of an admin, but there are no admins registered on this mac?? I have tried leaving it blank and using the passwords of other users on this mac, this did not work. Any advice is appreciated!

This is not possible.

It is impossible to install a MacOS (or OS X) without having at least one administrator account.

Only one account is registered on this and the password to it doesn't work, the other is a guest account which i have not used or set a password to even though it is password protected, could this be the issue?

I don't know what "this" means.  The guest account is not relevant to the issue.

Check System Preferences > Users & Groups, and be certain you're using the right user name and password.  Again, there must be at least one account that will show up there as "Admin".
