How do I remove app that won't install or delete

Try this:

1. Sign out of Apple ID.

2. Reset iPad. Hold Sleep and Home button down until you see Apple Logo.

3. Sign in to Apple ID.

Try removing here:

Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete App/Apps

Not showing up in apps on dashboard only

Try this:

on my iPad I went to settings>general>Storage & iCloud usage>Storage>manage storage. Open the app you want to delete and you will get a delete option.

I was looking to delete the Pages App that was stuck in waiting. I also discovered that I could see whether or not my Pages documents were stored in the cloud by following this path settings>general>Storage & iCloud usage>iCloud>manage storage.

This has also happened to me. And I can't find a way to get out of it, it says to keep on waiting but nothing happens. When I try to delete the app (oh by the way it's snapchat) nothing happens. HELP!

Yout don't have to do all of the signing out of the ipad think and resetting your phone, you could just go to storage and delete the app

This was the Best and Only way to get rid of it!

go on to setting then general then storage and iCloud usage then  Manage storage then click on the app you want then at the bottom press the delete app button

Thank you so much for posting this.  I have been trying for 3 weeks to get an app that was stuck in the installing mode that would not go away!!!! These steps worked perfectly and it is now gone!!!
