my iMac is slow

Hello, I recently upgraded from Yosemite to Sierra and I was informed that it shouldn't slow my computer down. Unfortunately it has. My Adobe Dreamweaver is freezing and slowing down and is no longer stable. I am running Adobe CS5 I know it is a old version but the newer versions are very large in size and I don't find I need it. Are there any suggestions as to avoid the Dreamweaver crashing or freezing. Kind Regards, Veronika

Please download and run EtreCheck, created by one of own helpers here in ASC. It is a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. Also it will give us further specs on your Mac. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information.
