static IP issue

Hi I have an iMac 27 Retina 2015 with Mac OS X 10.11.6 in a Network with only static IP addresses and only with Ethernet ports . After an Sierra update I can see and print the local network , but I can`t use internet . I don`t need WIFI . I erased the disk and installed el capitan again but the issue continues. After several tests I realized that if I connect the iMac to a Router with DHCP addresses with the Ethernet port , I can navigate and see the local network . Is the only iMac with that problem and the difference is with the Static IP . Can you help me  ?

Do you have your DNS set correctly?

reset the router and modem. BTW, Mac OS rarely needs to be re-installed, I suspect you may have come from a MS Windows background where that was necessary, on Mac OS it isn't. Even if other devices are not having the issue on the same network, please reset the router and modem. If necessary you may need to check for up-to-date firmware on both devices.
