Need advice re emails

Hi

I have been running Outlook for Mac on my MacBook Pro (120gb) since I got it about 18mth/2 years ago. I had moved from a Windows laptop and was just used to outlook so preferred that over Mail app.

I have multiple emails accounts - several work ones (I contract to companies) plus my own gmail, msn and a business one through Office 365/Exchange.

Because of this I know the size of files stored is pretty large as I keep a lot of old emails on file for business purposes.

ANYWAY... a few months ago I started having issues with StartUp Disk Full error messages - when I looked it was all 'Other' and a local computer company told me it was related to my Outlook which was storing things on the hard drive. We did a bit of a tidy up and tried to move over to office 365 more at that point but I have been still using Outlook out of habit and the problem has come back.

Two questions....

I want to know what is the best web based email service I can use that can read, store and send all my various emails from range of hosts

and

How can I totally manage to get rid of stored and hidden Outlook and Mail (I did install it for a time too) to  make sure I free up as much space as possible on my hard drive/start up disk?
