MBP 2017 warm when sleeping

I have noticed that while the 2017 lid is closed and the machine is sleeping, the body stays warm.

I understand that the RAM stays powered, but in sleep mode it should drop to about 20% consumption and I don't see how it could heat up the body in a noticeable manner.

The computer was plugged in during that time. I will see how it goes when it's unplugged.

Has anyone else noticed that?

My MacBook Pro is warmer when I charge the battery while sleeping.
