Quicklook is no longer working for videos or au...

Specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

MacOs Sierra 10.12.4

iTunes 12.6.0.100

I recently upgraded to Sierra 10.12.4 and now quick look no longer works for audio files and video files. I confirmed that that quick look does work for pdf files and images.

I get the following error in my quick look window for audio and video files:

"An error occurred with the preview of this document."

I found the following errors in the console related to quick look.

How do I fix this? I've tried repairing permissions already.

There is a problem with Sierra and older video/movie formats. I get the same response for all movie formats except for m4v and mp4.  Those play in Quicklook without issue.  However, when launching any of the other formats I get this:

as QT Player 10 converts the file to a compatible format.  However, when the converted file is saved it still can't be played with Quicklook. I haven't figured out which formats work and what don't.

Thanks but my problem is with all audio and video files regardless if they are new or old formats. Whatever the problem is doing a reinstall from the recovery boot is not fixing the issue either.

Same here, I think the new high Sierra will fix it, hopefully....
