Unable to share printer
Hi
I have a Kyocera Taskalfa 4551ci printer shared from Windows Server 2008 R2 which I have installed onto a Mid 2010 Mac Pro running macOS Sierra 10.12.6. When I go to Sharing in System Preferences and switch Printer Sharing to on I can click on the checkbox next to the printer but it doesn't become ticked. In addition I can go to Printers & Scanners, click on the printer and tick the box next to share this printer on my network, but if I quit System Preferences and come back to it the box is unticked. I reset the printing system and tried again but the results are still the same.
I know the printer is already available on the network but I am having some trouble adding it to Mac clients (detailed in another post) so wanted to test if it could be shared to the others through one Mac that has it added with the drivers and working.
