Photoshop Elements 12 freezing with Sierra

Since installing Sierra 10.12.6. on my Mac, Photoshop freezes up and can't be recovered without forcing quit and loosing any work done.  This mainly happens when using tools  such a paint brush, eraser, clone etc from the left hand side panel.  if left for a long time the whole computer freezies and I have to do a manual shut down.  Never any problems like this in Mavericks or Mountain Lion!!!!

Operating Systems change, and in particular the libraries (frameworks) that applications depend upon for correct functionality. As Adobe is now only supporting Photoshop Elements 15 on macOS Sierra, they certainly did not test PE 12 against Sierra for application compatibility. Upgrade.

The Sierra compatible version of PE is 15.
