Apple music cancellation

Six months ago I did the free trial of Apple Music and cancelled it after a while. Now every time I open iTunes I get that annoying message reminding me my subscription has expired ("your iCloud music library session has expired. to reconnect, sign in to your account). I know that and I don't want to renew it, but how do I get those messages to stop? They keep popping up multiple times if iTunes is open...

Simple issue but it's annoying! Thanks in advance.

Once you are completely unsubscribed you shouldn't be prompted anymore.
