Predicted locations

on iOS 10, my phone would predict my next location. Work, the bar I frequent, Home from work, the gym. It would also pop up on my Apple Watch.

Since i I upgraded to iOS, when I get in my car, my watch pops up my currently playing, which is whatever podcast or music I was playing last. the watch seems to insist on popping up the musuic app Every time I look at my wrist when in my car, even if I’ve already swiped the app away to return to the home watch screen.

My my car is a 2008 Ford, in which I use the Ford Sync. Which complicates things.

Any suggestions on how to return to predicted destination?  I don’t want this aggressive music app situation. What did iOS 11 change and how can I change my settings back?
