How to unlink phone from icloud account

My daughter's iPhone is linked to my dad's through icloud. They are NOT supposed to be, I do not have the password, my mom setup my dad's phone& somehow linked thems. Now every text & everything else on my daughters phone goes to my dads phone also. How can I get her phone off of his icloud? She has iPhone 5c ios 10.3.3

You are going to have to get that password from Dad or Mom to sign out of it. Then your daughter needs to have her own iCloud ID.

Is there really not a way to do it without the password? They gave her the phone when everyone was normal, now my mom is texting my daughter's friends to tell them what a crappy person my daughter is(she is not, she is a typical teen that can be a smart alec but nothing warranting that kind of action) my parents even served us an eviction notice because I couldn't just do everything they wanted instead of going to work and normal daily obligations. It's really crazy. I don't think they are going to give me the password.
