I am a new Mac user (Mac Book Pro 17).  What app do I need to download that will allow me to view all my windows jpeg pictures?

You said VIEW them.

If you want to organize them into a database, use Photos.app. if that is not already on your Mac, it should be waiting for you to re-download it on your "Purchases" page in the Mac App Store.

On an older Mac, you may find iPhoto, which has been replaced by Photos in later versions.

The premium product doesn't seem to be working.

I have been able to see the images in the past, but not for these last few weeks.
