Shortcut for changing windows

Hello,

In Windows, a user can use shortcuts to toggle between two open windows, say when writing in Word. However, with macOS Sierra this seems not to be supported with Scandinavian keyboard. The standard answer is to type CTRL + Tilde (~), but the scandic keyboard does not have a key for Tilde (~), it is produced with a combination ALT + ¨. Now, typing CTRL + ALT + ¨ doesn't seem to do anything. Hoping some scandic user can help me out?

I am not sure if the shortcuts are affected by the layout chosen, but you can try pressing Command + §. On US layout, the Tilde key is located on the § key of the Scandinavian layout.

Try using Mission Control instead of shortcuts. Really handy.

Mission control is great, but when it comes to switching between windows in the same application, this shortcut is definitely faster. Instead of taking your fingers off the keyboard (if you were typing), swiping up on the trackpad and then selecting the window, you can simply move your left hand and press command + `.
