my mac cant connect to icloud

When Im trying to sign into my iCloud i get this message: This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with <my email address> Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem

when I entered my password in iCloud preferences i got: "an unknown error occurred"

I tried reseting keychain, deleting the users files from the accounts folder, signing out from my iphone, nothing works. I also cant sign out from iCloud, because it says that im using services even though im not.

how can I fix this???
