My new MacBook Pro is not letting me in on iMes...

I just got a new MacBook Pro yesterday and it lets me sign into everything except for iMessage and FaceTime. When I try to sign in all it says is that an error has occurred and to try again. Ive tried following the directions on apples website when they won't let you sign in but none of that worked either.
