Hello

google maps and I dont seem to be able to work each other out.

or it could be the apple macbook pro trackpad and me.

i have had my macbook pro now for 4 years and all this time i cannot really move and roam in the google maps as i would like to.

take a map

- i can zoom in and out - by stretching apart my 2 fingers on trackpad on closing them in

- how do i move the map to the right without changing zoom focus, and move the right up without changing zoom focus. when i use 2 fingers and swipe it does nothing but change zoom focus. when i use 1 finger and swipe or drag, it does not nothing but change zoom focus

my settings on trackpad are as follows:

I had this problem too. I turned on 3-finger drag under “point-and-click” and that now works for me.

Hi, I have this very same and annoying issue too. The solution doesn't work in 10.12.4 as there is no option to turn on 3-finger drag under point-and-click.

How do i move about in Google maps please? or any other similar page that requires me to move left or right?

Thankyou in advance.

This ScrollMaps Chrome Extension is a godsend! Google Maps is still much better than Apple Maps in accuracy, resolution, information content, ... everything except for the user interface for Mac touchpad users. This Chrome Extension made my life much easier.
