moving photos
Hello, please can anyone help?
I have an old 2008 MacBook where all my photos are stored in iPhoto. I have purchased a new MacBook Pro and now wish to transfer them. I was thinking of purchasing an external hard drive, moving the photos to that off the old MacBook and then transferring them from the external hard drive to the new MacBook Pro:
1. Is it that straightforward? I am slightly confused as the old one has iPhoto but the new one has the photos app - does this matter?
2. Would any external hard drive be ok? I want something about 1TB
Thanks for your help
