MacBook Pro 2017 colors seem off

The color on my new 15in MacBook Pro 2017 seems a bit off.

I first noticed the issue when I would export images from photoshop. The exported file looked much more washed out than the psd. I tested on other monitors and on other people's computer and the two files look identical on everything else. I'm also seeing this issue in other random places like sometimes images show up much more saturated in slack or other programs make an image different from what it looks like on other monitors.

Is anyone else having this issue? I played around quite a bit with the color profiles and tried to calibrate it as well but always kept coming up with similar result. Help please!

I've heard of at least a couple of other cases exactly as you described. If you're within 14 days of purchase, I would bring the Mac back for refund or exchange. If not, compare it to one in the Apple Store and see if it's better. If so, I would ask to have yours repaired.

I turned off auto adjust brightness and that fixed it, i tried recalibrating or whatever and it helped only slightly. I turned off auto brightness and the display is fantastic again. Its annoying to manually change brightness, but way better than a milky looking screen.
