How to delete subscribed calendars on iOS 10?

I can't find a way to delete subscribed calendars on iOS10, there's no delete option from the calendar app, nor from the Mail or Calendar settings and these calendars are not synced with my Mac so I can't delete them from there either. Does anybody know how to delete a subscribed calendar on iOs 10?

Can you right click (on a Mac) on the particular subscribed calendar where you will be given the option to unsubscribe?  As far as I know, and for me, I have never been able to unsubscribe from a subscribed calendar on my iOS.

I believe what you're looking for in iOS 10 is in Settings > Calendar > Accounts, first Unsubscribe to the calendar, then back in the Calendar app, tap the "i" for the offending calendar, and you should now see a Delete Calendar button.

I have not been able to deleting a subscribed Canadian Holidays Calendar in iOS10.

I have deleted it from my Mac, but have had no luck deleting it from my iPhone. It is listed in the Other section of the calendar, not the iCloud or Facebook section.

There is no delete button in Calendars App and the calendar I want to delete does not appear in the main Settings/Calendar/Accounts area.

Any ideas?

The problem is that the calendar I want to delete doesn't appear on the list of calendars at Settings/Calendars or in the list of accounts at Settings/Calendar/Accounts. I can't imagine that we would have to use a Mac that's set up to sync in order to delete unwanted calendars. I do have a Mac, but at this point I want an iOS solution as a matter of principle!!

Followup question: the subscribed calendar I want to delete is a calendar of a subset of world cup races put out the racing organizer, and I subscribed by clicking on a link they provided for that specific calendar. Problem is that the unwanted calendar is burying three other calendars from that organization.

I'm just trying to avoid having to paw through the next four months of my calendar to click on each of the 70 or so events I want to delete, so any help would be great.

If it's showing in "Other" untick it — if it's not you should be able to delete it.

Delete it through the actual Calendar app. TAp on calendar at bottom of screen > edit > [select calendar, scroll up] delete.

Please note: The Delete button does not exist for "Other" calendars in iOS 10.  Apple developers have overlooked this.

I tried all the published solutions to similar problems, including command-delete, no luck. Then I tried opening iCal on my iPhone and deleting the subscribed calendar there instead. Worked instantly across all platforms! Go figure.

On Apple site there is only a way to delete subscribed calendars if you used you Mac to do the subscription.  Looks like (i have this issue) if you added the calendar using your OS device you will not see it in iCloud even though iCloud still displays information from that calendar.  Even if on your OS device you turn off the calendar the Mac still shows all your info.

On the iOS device Apple left out the DELETE feature in Calendar, so we users are up the creek.

Go into the Settings app, scroll down and tap Calendar, click Accounts on the top and then Subscribed calendars. Go into the calendar you want to delete, and on the bottom is a bright red Delete Account button.

I'm on an iPhone 6, IOS 10.2.1, and there are no Subscribed Calendars displayed on my Calendar Accounts list...

Exactly, there's no subscribed calendars...
