Wireless Mouse Issues

Hello,

A few months ago I purchased a Logitech M325c wireless mouse to use with my MacBook Pro, which is about 2 years old. It worked without any problems for approximately 4 months until it suddenly quit working during use. I have changed the battery, which does not help, along with restarting the computer, turning both devices off and back on, trying different USB ports, and downloading the various updates/downloads from Logitech's website. With both batteries, the green light on the mouse illuminates when the mouse is switched on for approximately 5-10 seconds, then goes off, as usual, but the mouse will still not move the cursor on the screen. It connects through a small USB insert and has not required any downloads or updates at all previously, but recent downloads have occurred in attempt to fix the problems and were not helpful. I have attempted to use the "Logitech Unifying Software," along with "Logitech Control Center" (under System Preferences), all of which say a Logitech device cannot be found. The "mouse" section under System Preferences also cannot locate a wireless mouse. Is there any advice or assistance anyone can provide? From the date of purchase, the mouse has worked seamlessly without fail and suddenly stopped during use. I have not attempted to use it with another computer and, to my knowledge, have not had the mouse near other wireless devices. The mouse also does not have a reset button and the MacBook Pro is running on Sierra 10.12.6 and does not currently need an update.

Thank you!

Hi,

Did you start using a USB 3 peripheral at the same time by chance?

Do try it with a different computer to see if the mouse still works at all. It's possible the mouse or dongle died.
