GeForce GTX680 can it be installed on mac pro?

So I've been looking for a new graphics card for my early 2008 Mac Pro. It seems to struggle a lot to run CS:GO at 60fps +. It's a low intensive game and should be getting around 120fps+. I also play Minecraft and I get around 120 fps which is alright but when i try to record I get 8fps with OBS. If you know a good graphics card that is compatible please tell me! So far i've found the NVIDIA GeForce GTX680. Has anybody here installed / tried to install this card? Would this work? As I said before please tell me if there are better ones out there that would work! Thanks.

Hmmm, i didnt try the gtx 680. But ... it should work.

I own a flashed gtx 980 ti in my mp 2010/5.1, this one works perfect.

Unflashed grafic cards for windows systems should work, but they dont show the booting screens, until osx has fully loaded. So in case of booting problems you will not see any error screens, and the osx boot volume selection screen (where you choose between osx and boot camp) cannot be displayed.

Flashed grafic cards will show you the boot screens too.

Have a look at https://www.macvidcards.com/, they have a wide variety of grafic cards, from low cost up to high end. And they have a flashing service for many pc cards.
