MBP10,1 reboots with sleep/wake error since HS ...

Since High Sierra upgrade my MBP 15" 10,1 laptop reboots while lid closed with a sleep/wake error. This is basically when sleeping for 10+ min. This has happened 10s of times by now. Also it has frozen in mid action for at least 5-7 times since HS install. Also Mail app crashes regularly when going to a new mail, when using the cursor key to scroll down in the messages.

I've checked the pmset values but nothing out of the ordinary.

Anybody seen these same issue?

Never a release looked so debilitating and never had I to revert a release, but now I've done so as it is really unworkable. Guess I'll try again in 3 or 4 point releases.

Resetting SMC could solve the problem.
