Use Apple watch to control iPhone Slow Motion

I am wondering if I can use Apple watch to control iPhone slow motion capture. I do not need the view finder on my Apple watch, I just need to use Apple watch as a buletooth control to start and stop slow motion caputre.

Hi

It is not presently possible to use Apple Watch as a remote control for recording video or slow motion video via the paired iPhone (the Camera Remote feature can instead be used to take photos).

If you would like to suggest that Apple considers adding this as a new feature, you can do so here:

What's stupid is this shouldn't not be an option, somehow I just glitched it to get it to at least be able to trigger the slo mo video to start recording. I'm not exactly sure how I did it but it was recording. I think I triggered it to start before the watch realized I was on slo mo mode on the phone.  I have tried again but cannot seem to get it to work again. What bothers me is the functionality is clearly there. Just another case of apple having technology now but waiting to release it in future versions of the product as innovations, when really, they're just held back features.  That on top of the clearly forced obsolescence of their products is enough to make me consider using a different manufacturer
