How will this work????

So if I sync my devices now to iTunes will all my apps automatically go away, and they I have to go into this new App store to redownlaod them?  Is that correct?  And will they all be together and its just another initial step or am I going to have to search for all of them?  I sync all my stuff through iTunes, since I don't have enough cloud space to do it over the cloud.  Is this just a way for Apple to force me to buy cloud space.  Will I have to now sync my devised through iTunes AND this App store?
